SSCC offers an array of social events in addition to our regular sports. Events include regular board game nights and fun one-offs like bike rides, learn-to-curl nights, and seasonal themed events. Up-to-date information about current social events will be posted on Facebook and Instagram.

Inner Tube Water Polo

Inner Tube Water Polo is coming back soon! SSCC is offering inner tube water polo on monthly basis (when possible).

Next Sunday, October 15 at 3:30 on the Northside Community Pool. Drop in is $15/person.

Pumpkin Carving Party

SSCC and Island Flok come together again for the 3rd annual pumpkin carving part. Is happening on Ocotber 22 at 6:00.

The tickets are $18 and they include the pumpkins, candles, candy, carving tools and a chance to win more prizes!

Learn to play tennis

Our friends of Cromarty Tennis Club provide us with a brief lesson before we get a chance to put those new skills to use in a game.

Drop in is $10/person and that includes a group tennis lesson and ample game time, plus some post-tennis socializing and snacks.

Australian Rules Football with Sydney Giants

SSCC and Sydney Giants AF come together for a session of learning how to play non-contact aussie rules football.

All Tuesdays in September, SSCC will be playing footy with Sydney Giants AFC from 6:30p-8:30pm at the Open Hearth Park grass field. Drop in is by donation.

Sydney Giants will provide instruction for anyone new, and if you’d like more time to work on your skills, come early and join in their practice starting at 6:00pm.

Women’s Only Learn-To-Play Australian Rules Football with Sydney Giants

SSCC and the Giants are also co-hosted a non-contact, women’s only “Learn to Play” event for Australian football!
No experience with is required, and first time players are encouraged to attend.

Fancy Dancy

SSCC’s social side is putting on a bow tie and heels for an evening of formal fun. There will be catered snacks, a darts tournament, table games like pool and foosball, music, and, of course, dancing! Plus, $5 from every ticket will be donated to Meals on Wheels.
